Welcome to Bessemer City Primary's Kindergarten Website! Please check the website often for updates and weekly reports of what's going on in kindergarten! 
We all hope everyone is having a great start to their New Year! Kindergarten has been very busy trying to make up work from the snow days, but the children are working very hard! This month we will have several units: Healthy Me, Valentines/friendship/mail carriers, our country/President’s Day, Dental Health. We will also be learning about the letters: Bb, Kk, Ww, Xx. Please review these letters and sounds with your child each week.
Parents our field trip to the Schiele Museum is scheduled for February 8th, please send in the permission slips along with the $1.00 misc. fee. Again, please check your child’s folder daily as well as the reading log and continue to sign. Reading with your child every night can and will make a huge difference!
*Please remember to practice these things with your child at home - the more support they receive the more successful they will be in school!
